General

Here are some general questions you might have about shopping at Geek & Green.

The environment and our impact on it are very important to us. On our page about Sustainability practices we explain what we do to make our impact as small as possible. Go check it out if you want to know more.

In short we do the following:
- All products are from Stanley & Stella and Kariban with 100% organic and/or recycled materials and have the G.O.T.S. label.
- No pesticides, insecticides or GMOs are used.
- For each product you order, Eden Reforestation Projects plants Mangrove trees in Africa.
- The products we use are created under decent working conditions and with fair wages for farmers and employees.
- We don't have inventory waste because we print each product on demand.
- Our printing partner only uses eco-certified water-based inks.
- All of our packages are sent without any plastics.
- We're located in Europe and only ship to European countries.

The email address used to make your purchase has to be the same as the email address that you used for your newsletter subscription.

Shipping policy

We only ship to countries in Europe. That's both EU and non EU countries on the European continent. We don't ship outside of Europe because of the environmental impact. Check our Sustainability page for more information.

At the moment we're focussing on the European store, but we hope to eventually branch out and ship to other locations as well.

Our products are printed on demand in Europe. We don't think it's sustainable to then ship that product all over the world. So we have to find suppliers that meet our standards in other locations before we can branch out. Before we do that, we want to make sure there's enough interest to start a store overseas.

Would you like to order Geek & Green products in your part of the world? Let us know you're interested by sending us a message. If we get enough messages we'll actively search for new suppliers in other parts of the world.

All orders are printed on demand and then shipped to you directly. This is to ensure we don't waste any products. Because of this it can take more time for your order to arrive compared to traditional clothing brands.

Our print on demand partner starts the production of your order within 2 to 4 days after ordering. After production is finished, your order will be shipped to your location. Shipments are always tracked. How long it takes to arrive depends on your location.

In the European Union it can take 3 to 10 working days. In the rest of Europe, it usually takes 5 to 14 working days.

So in total it can take about 5 to 14 working days for your order to arrive when you're located in the EU and 7 to 18 working days for the rest of Europe. If you're lucky it takes a shorter time. Please feel free to contact us if your order hasn't arrived within this timeframe, so we can get in touch with our print on demand partner.

Note: Government restrictions due to COVID-19 are impacting production and delivery times. So it may take a bit longer depending on where you're located. Especially for countries outside the EU.

Shipping rates are dependent on your location in Europe and the total cost of your order.

Packages shipped outside the European Union are, depending on the destination country, subject to customs fees. These fees are calculated differently in each country, depending on the value and type of product. You are responsible for paying these import fees/taxes. So there is a possibility that you have to pay these upon arrival. We sadly don't have a way to circumvent this at the moment.

If you're in the EU: No.

If you're outside the EU: Depends on your country.

Packages shipped outside the European Union are, depending on the destination country, subject to customs fees. These fees are calculated differently in each country, depending on the value and type of product. You are responsible for paying these import fees/taxes.

So there is a possibility that you have to pay these upon arrival. We sadly don't have a way to circumvent this at the moment.

Returns and exchanges

Did your order arrive damaged or is there something wrong with the print? Here are a few questions and answers about handling returns. Check our Refund Policy for more information.

You can find our return policy here. In short, we have a 14-day return policy and the item has to be in the same state as you received it. Any shipping costs for returning will be for you. Send us a message at info@geekngreen.com to start a return.

Because we only print on clothing when it is purchased, take care when you place your order, check the sizing table, and only order things you know you'll love. We don't hold stock of printed items.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately via info@geekngreen.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We will assess the situation and send you a replacement when necessary.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@geekngreen.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
